Man dead after shooting in Donelson Tuesday afternoon

A man is dead after a deadly shooting at a residence in Donelson.

Metro Nashville police say a shooting left Jeff Braman, 56, dead. Police discovered Braman in his residence in the 3200 block of Trails End Lane on Tuesday afternoon. 

Police say a witness told them two suspects visited the residence before the shooting and fled in a dark colored vehicle. The motive in the shooting isn't clear.

Dispatch received the call for the shooting just before 1:40 p.m.
