(SMYRNA TN) A medical emergency Friday (4/24/2020) morning on Percy Priest Lake brought quick help to a local fisherman.

Rutherford County Fire Rescue's shift B was on-the-scene quickly with emergency boats entering the lake from two separate ramps.

First responders quickly located the boater and returned the patient to the ramp where paramedics from Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services assisted.

Special thanks also to the Rutherford County Sheriffs Office for their part in helping the Friday morning boater.
